Dear Churches and Spiritual Centers of Binghamton,

Does your church or community group support a service project in another country? If so, Binghamton University’s Center for Civic Engagement would like to invite you to table at the 2nd Annual Global Service Fair on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. This is a great opportunity to recruit students to help support your cause. Last year we had over 200 students attend and will have even more this year.

The Global Service Fair is a great chance to:

  • Showcase ways students can support global service projects locally, such as fundraising and preparing supplies for volunteers abroad
  • Recruit student volunteers for service projects abroad
  • Network with others to address international issues such as youth empowerment, food security, housing, sustainability, peace education, and health care

The fair is from 12-3pm in the University Union Old Union Hall on the Binghamton University Campus. There is no cost to table at this event, but registration is required. Space is limited so be sure to register early. Registration deadline: November 5, 2014. Presenters must commit to the entire time in order to table 12-3 pm with set-up at 11 a.m.

Parking:

You may park in the visitor’s lot or the parking garage. View a University parking map here. Please note that because tabling at the event is free, we are unable to reimburse you for the parking fee. Please also note that the Visitor’s Lot only accepts cash. A maximum daily rate of $6 is charged when parking for 4+ hours.

CLICK HERE to register by Wednesday, November 5th. If you do not receive a confirmation email by November 6th, please contact us to ensure you have been registered to table.
