Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Ministry

Now accepting for the 2020 -2021 cohort

As faith communities respond to the realities of the coronavirus pandemic, racial inequity and economic hardship, the “Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Ministry” provides leaders with a dynamic platform to spark renewal and transformation for mission-driven faith communities in central New York and beyond. Through a creative alliance between Syracuse University and Le Moyne College, we offer a distinctive setting to form leaders that are empowered to thrive within these challenging times.

This ecumenical program, sponsored by the Lily Foundation, is free of charge and open to leaders of all ages.  It is ideal for emerging faith leaders who seek to lead change in their organizations. Drawing deeply on the latest research in leadership, the primary goals of the program are as follows:

  1. Provide knowledge and skills for increased impact in leadership, team-building, and community-building
  2. Nurture self-awareness and ongoing personal spiritual development
  3. Increase effectiveness and a sense of accomplishment
  4. Share educational and other relevant resources
  5. Raise the level of vocational fulfillment
