(WBNG) — The Southerntiersmen Chorus annual show was cancelled, but during the pandemic the singing group raised money for CHOW, the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse.

Gil Durham, the Chapter President, says the Southerntiersmen Chorus performed in an annual show for 74 continuous years, until last year.

Since 2004 the Southerntiersmen Chorus’ annual December concert has partnered with the Broome County Council of Churches to raise money for CHOW.

The CHOW concerts have raised nearly $27,000 for CHOW. In 2020, the Southerntiersmen Chorus raised and contributed $3,800 to CHOW.
