These are scary days we live in. COVID-19 has changed the way we live, and sometimes in our fear and uncertainty we can only see the worst around us.  But it’s also times like this when we see the best in people rise up—communities can rally around each other and neighbors can lend a helping hand to lift each other up.

With the unprecedented situation we are in, the community needs your help now more than ever.  Access to food has been severely limited.  Our kids are out of school, our elderly friends are homebound, food and toiletry items are scarce, and we don’t know when it will let up.  If there was ever a time when the community needed your help – it’s now.

CHOW® is in the process of preparing thousands of Emergency Meal Boxes so that no one in Broome County goes without during this outbreak.  This requires thousands of pounds of food.

During this time of great need, will you provide emergency food to help feed your neighbors?  Every item of food and every dollar you give goes directly to the community—100%.  Please consider helping your neighbor by giving today.  Visit https://broomecouncil.net/donate-now/  to donate online, or visit us at 3 Otseningo Street in Binghamton to drop off a cash, check, or food donation.  Together we can rise up against COVID-19!
