JOHNSON CITY (WBNG) — The Calvary Community Church held a food pop-up in the church’s parking lot at 780 Harry L. Dr. Tuesday.

The church has been doing the pop up since the beginning of the pandemic with items from the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse.

The church handed out produce, bread, coffee and paper towels.

Dominick Langella, Calvary Community member, says that giving to those in need should be the most important.

“I think it’s not important about this church doing this,” Langella said. “I think it’s important that each of us as individuals do what we can.”

Calvary Community Church will continue their food pop-up next week.
