Faith in Action Volunteers of the Broome County Council of Churches will honor community volunteers at its 27th annual Lives of Commitment Awards Breakfast.
On Thursday, May 7, at 7:15 a.m., at the DoubleTree Hotel in Binghamton, volunteers will be recognized for their commitment to making a difference in their community.
In addition to breakfast, the ceremony will celebrate 30 years of volunteers and feature keynote speaker Naima Kradjian, CEO of Goodwill Theatre, and honories including:
- Joe Burnett – Faith in Action Volunteer Honoree
- Bob Kneer – Agency Honoree and CHOW Volunteer
- Janet Kent, Heather Staley, & Lynn Terry, founders of the non-profit “It’s Raining Lemonade” – Community Honorees
