A handful of organizations in the Southern Tier were the recipients of money from Broadview Federal Credit Union.
Overall, $380,000 in short-term investments was awarded to 46 food pantries, rescue missions, and shelters in the state. These donations will fight hunger and food insecurity across the state.
The five organizations that received money were Binghamton Rescue Mission, Clear Path for Veterans, Broome County Council of Churches -CHOW, Food Bank of the Southern Tier, and Catholic Charities of Broome County.
Other organizations that split the money were in the Capital Region, Central New York, and Western New York.
