Bearded Broome is a local fundraising organization dedicated to supporting the Broome County community through its annual November fundraiser for Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse, or CHOW.
Inspired by the national “No Shave November” movement, Bearded Broome encourages participants to put down their razors for the month and use their changing appearance as a way to spark conversations and raise awareness for a great cause.
All donations stay local, helping CHOW stock up on food for the holiday season and beyond.
Since its founding in 2021, Bearded Broome has raised over $112,000, every dollar of which has gone directly to CHOW.
The event runs throughout November, with activities taking place across Broome County and online at www.beardedbroome.com.
