These organizations use the proceeds throughout the year to help area youth and their families through services ranging from tutoring and after-school programs, to meals, food pantries, and counseling. In addition, a contribution from funds raised during the tournament is being made to the Mayors Challenge to End Veteran Homelessness to help assist homeless US military veterans in Broome County.
Security Mutual Life Chairman, President and CEO Bruce W Boyea presented the proceeds of the All-Star Golf tournament to four local organizations. These organizations include The Broome County Urban Leauge, The Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton, Catholic Charities of Broome County, and the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse.
