The Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse, or CHOW, will host the 42nd annual Hunger Walk in Johnson City.
The walk will take place on Sept. 21 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Oakdale Commons.
There will be activities, including pickleball at the DICK’S House of Sport, live music and entertainment at the event.
Director of CHOW Les Aylesworth said it’s never been more important to raise awareness of hunger than now.
“Our goal has always been to work ourselves out of existence but the truth remains that our services are needed now more than ever,” Aylesworth said.
Aylesworth noted that the CHOW Hunger Walk has been held since 1982.
