BINGHAMTON (WBNG) — Are you in the giving spirit this summer? We know just how you can help out those in need.

Throughout the month of July, you can fight hunger in our area by dropping of non-perishable food items at Boscov’s in downtown Binghamton.

The food drive will support the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW).

The store says it’s hoping to stock the organization’s shelves this summer.

“It really makes us feel like Boscov’s is part of the community here in Binghamton. We give back, we’re always working with nonprofit organizations. Our friends helping friends event that we promote year-round. We give back to the community non-stop,” Assistant Store Manager Camille Pompeii explained.

Items can be dropped off until July 31.
