The Binghamton Rotary Club hosted a presentation by Kinya Middleton, General Manager of Greater Good Grocery Store, or GGGS, at Suny Culinary & Event Center today.
Opened in 2020, GGGS was the first grocery store to open on the city’s north side in 25 years. The store is dedicated to its mission of providing healthy and affordable food options for people of all incomes.
Operated by the Broome County Council of Churches, GGGS also runs a Mobil Market Bus to help those who have difficulty traveling.
The store also participates in various programs, including Vegetables RX, SNAP Dollars, and WIC.
