The fall edition of Restaurant Week sold 19,904 meals and raised $10,077 in donations to two local charities.

Partial proceeds from Binghamton’s signature 10-day event for food lovers will go to the OurSpace Project at Recreation Park and the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW).

Restaurant Week’s fall edition wrapped up Sept. 25. Those who missed it need not worry — the table is set for the spring edition on March 24 through April 2.

For Restaurant Week, participating eateries develop their own menus for a sampling of what they have to offer at a discounted price: $12 or less for a three-course lunch special, or $25 or less for a three-course dinner.

The goal of the event is to introduce new customers to restaurants and the scope of the Binghamton area’s dining scene.
