CHOW® & United Way of Broome County –
“Scare Away Hunger” Announcement Monday 7/25/16 @ 11:00 a.m.
CHOW® will provide an update about the community partnership supporting the CHOW® Fresh initiative and its capacity to make healthy foods available to hungry and food-insecure residents throughout Broome County. Also, the United Way of Broome County, B-Mets and CHOW® will announce the “Scare Away Hunger” event at the B-Mets game on Sunday, July 31 with a canstruction display from Southern Tier Young Professionals and Tioga State Bank.
The CHOW® Bus andCHOW® Market Vans will be on-site for the announcement. The update and announcement will offer photo/video opportunities, and representatives from both CHOW® and the United Way of Broome County will be available for interviews.
CHOW® and CHOW® Fresh are programs of the Broome County Council of Churches, Inc.
